Book Launch: “What am I?” – The Poetry of János Arany (monography)

A significant event of the János Arany Memorial Year (dedicated to one of the greatest Hungarian poets, who was born 200 years ago) is the appearance of a new monography about him. The author, Márton Szilágyi, is a literary historian and the leader of the Department of Classical Hungarian Literature at the Eötvös Loránd University in Budapest. His book brings up numerous new aspects while dealing with his subject profoundly and offering exciting explanations. The first launch of the relevant publication that got out a few weeks ago takes place in Cluj-Napoca. “What am I?” – The Poetry of János Arany will be presented by the director of the Kalligram Publisher, Sándor  Mészáros and Levente T. Szabó, literary historian.
