15th Finno-Ugric Writers' Congress

The 15th Finno-Ugric Writers' Congress will be held in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, at the Faculty of Letters of the Babeş-Bolyai University on 21-25. August 2019.

The Association of Finno-Ugric literatures has been organizing congresses every two years since 1993. The aim of these Congresses is to keep and develop literary links between Finno-Ugric peoples, to exchange information, thoughts and experiences about what is happening in literature as well as in society.

The 15th Finno-Ugric Writers' Congress will be held in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, at the Faculty of Letters of the Babeş-Bolyai University on 21-25. August 2019. The main topic of the congress is “Literature in the Diaspora”.

We welcome poets and writers working in the diaspora, as well as specialists in this field of literature.

The working languages of the congress are Hungarian, English and Russian. The program includes plenary lectures and section sessions.
