Rosa Liksom was our guest

The teachers of Finnish language and literature organized the visit of the Finnish writer and visual artist Rosa Liksom at Cluj between October 21-24, 2010. On October 22 the morning discussion with the students of Finnish at the Faculty of Letters was followed later in the afternoon by the public reading of Liksom’s short stories, the screening of her video Finlandia – A National Landscapein the studio of the Hungarian State Theatre of Cluj and audience discussion.

Enikő Molnár Bodrogi launched the study of Meänkieli for the students of Finnish (our university is the only one, besides the University ofUmeå, Sweden, where this Fenno-Ugric language can be studied).
